The 1P26S batteries inside are connected in series and parallel to form a battery module, which is divided into 4 battery modules. There is a fused MSD mounted on the front panel. Installing a fuse can provide short-circuit protection for the batteries in the package. The series voltage of 104 batteries is a bit high, and installing an MSD can play an internal isolation/disconnection role. The cabinet adopts a shell-cooled integrated lower cabinet and upper cover design. The battery cluster is composed of 4 battery module boxes. There are 9 slots in a row in the container. The upper and lower battery module boxes form a cluster. The battery clusters are connected in series to form a group 1P416S. There are two configuration designs for battery cluster energy output; one is a switch box and the other is an embedded string PCS. Let’s talk about the first switch box solution first. Looking at the DC switch box solution from the promotional materials provided by Sungrow, the switch box seems to use liquid cooling for heat dissipation. It may be a mistake. The cost of liquid cooling for the switch box is a bit high. , this is not necessary. From another picture, it seems that the switch box should dissipate heat naturally. There are two DC input interfaces on the front panel of the switch box, which combine the two clusters of batteries into one output. The second string PCS solution, the picture below shows Sungrow’s 210kW string PCS using liquid cooling. Each 210kW PCS is connected to a cluster of 417.99kWh batteries. Two positive and negative pole connections come out of each of the two clusters of batteries. They are first connected to the DC sides of the two PCSs through the junction box. The DC side of the junction box is equipped with a fuse. level short circuit protection. The two AC lines from the two PCS are combined into one output in the junction box.
